Box Score IRVINE, Calif. – The Benedictine University Mesa men's soccer team faced off with Westcliff University in Irvine, Calif. falling to the Warriors by a score of 3-1 at OC Great Park. The loss brings the Redhawks to an overall record of 4-7-3 and 4-4-1 in Cal Pac.
The Redhawks spent the majority of the early goings absorbing Westcliff pressure on its own end. The Warriors would put two in the net at the 8th minute and the 29th minute of the first half. Westcliff held a 9-1 advantage on shots and forced Adian Klein to make a save off a shot late in the first half.
The Redhawks would take two shots before landing one between the posts. Luis Olandez scored for the Redhawks off an assist from Joao Alvarez. Though the Redhawks looked more likely to score, the Warriors took back possession and forced another into the net bringing the match to 3-1.

The Redhawks continue conference play at home against the Lions of Soka University of America. The match will be at Bell Bank Park at 8 p.m.
