CHECKLIST FOR NEW STUDENTS

Where do I send my high school transcripts? Official transcripts from your high school must be submitted directly by your high school to the NAIA Eligibility Center. Your high school must send them using the NAIA Registrar’s Portal.

How do I send test scores? You must request that your test scores be sent directly from the testing service (College Board) using our code: 9876. The NAIA cannot accept test scores that appear on high school transcripts. The scores must be sent directly from the testing service to the NAIA Eligibility Center.

Where do I send my transfer transcripts? The preferred method of receiving transcripts is through the NAIA Registrar’s Portal. Institutions who do not use the NAIA Registrar’s Portal will need to send transcripts via an approved third party vendor (Parchment, National Student Clearinghouse, or Credentials Solutions/E-Scrip Safe) or by mail. If using a third party vendor and an email address is required, students must use: documents@naia.org

If mailed, official transcripts must be in a school-sealed envelope. NAIA National Office and Eligibility Center at 120 W. 12th Street, Suite 700 Kansas City, Mo. 64105 Mail is allowed for college transcripts only.

International Students are required to purchase an InCred evaluation for eligibility decisions. Only records submitted to and verified by InCred, as well as the official InCred credential evaluation, will be used to apply NAIA eligibility rules.

CONTINUING ELIGIBILITY

How do I stay eligible?

Freshman, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors all have to meet different requirements for continuing eligibility. Check the right side of the flyer for your needs.

What if I don’t have a determination form the NAIA Eligibility Center?

An eligibility determination from the NAIA Eligibility Center is required prior to meeting all other requirements. See the “Eligibility for New Students” flyer on the athletic website.

What if I have less than 12 credits left until graduation?

You may participate while enrolled part time if it is your last term of attendance before your expected graduation. You must get prior approval by Suzannah Toresdahl, your advisor, and the Registrar before participating under the “senior exception rule”.
