Box Score MESA, Ariz. – The Redhawks got back in the win column on Thursday evening, defeating Park University-Gilbert 1-0 on the road. The Redhawks are now 8-4-5 overall and 5-2-4 in Cal Pac.
Freshman Jada Barnett scored the winning goal for the Redhawks in the 9th minute of the match. Neshma Rodriguez was credited with the assist. The Redhawks defense held off 11 shots from the Buccaneers. Jaden Campbell held off a penalty kick deflecting it out of the box to keep the 1-0 lead.
The goal against the Buccaneers makes it Barnett's 5th goal in Cal Pac play tying Dahlia Alonso for the lead in goals for the Redhawks. Barnett has been a critical piece of the offense in the last two matches scoring the only goals for the Redhawks.

The Redhawks are in a good position to clinch one of the final playoff spots after the win over Park. A tie or win against Embry-Riddle will secure a spot for the Redhawks in the Cal Pac Championship tournament.
BenU will face Embry-Riddle on Saturday, Oct. 29th at 7 p.m. at Bell Bank Park.
