Box Score 2 REDHAWKS – 1, SEABEGGARS – 1
The Redhawks and Seabeggars each scored in the first 30 minutes of the match in a 1-1 draw in Arcadia, Calif. The Redhawks collected their fourth tie in Cal Pac, and their third-straight, with the draw against Providence.
Dahlia Alonso scored in the 11th minute for the Redhawks bringing her total to five goals in conference play and 8 in the season. Alonso got the chance in the box on a long pass from Maya Shearon.
The Seabeggars took advantage of the Redhawks slow move to reshape after an attempt and scored in the 26th minute to tie the game. The Redhawks would make efforts to answer for the goal taking an 8-5 advantage in the second half but were unable to land any in the net.
REDHAWKS – 0, GOLDEN EAGLES – 1
The Redhawks dropped their first conference match on Saturday evening, as the Redhawks fell, 1-0, to La Sierra University. The loss marked the Redhawks third loss of the season, bringing their overall record to 5-3-5, and 3-1-4 in Cal Pac.
Each team played very cautiously in the first half, with not a lot of direct scoring chances. However, each goalkeeper did make some big plays coming off their lines to thwart chances. Jaden Campbell had 5 saves in the first half allowing just one to get by at the 31st minute. The goal came from La Sierra's Arianna Perez on a deep shot that snuck in between the crossbar and Campbells glove.
The Redhawks would have an opportunity at the 65th minute to tie the game with a penalty kick. Jada Barnett took the shot for the Redhawks but was unable to get it by La Sierra's goalkeeper. Barnett would go on to lead the Redhawks in shots with 8 and three on goal.
