Box Score The Redhawks played to a 3-3 draw with UC Merced on Saturday afternoon in Merced, Calif. The Redhawks are now 2-3-3 overall and 2-1-1 in Cal Pac.
Pelaelo Mahloko opened the scoring for the Redhawks with his second goal in as many matches. Mahloko broke through in the 20th minute bringing the match to 2-1 with the Bobcats still in the lead. Edwin Arias tied the game at the 70th minute on an unassisted goal. The Bobcats countered quickly and scored on the 76th minute. Joao Alvarez would tie the game up at 3-3 in the 77th.
The Redhawks were outshot 25-7 and 11-4 with shots on goal. Donato Gil finished with 7 saves while Merced finished with just one save in the full 90.
