Box Score

MESA, Ariz. – The shots came in abundance, but the Redhawks were unable to get the goal tally necessary to defeat the Pioneers on Thursday evening. The Redhawks are now 5-2-3 overall and 3-0-2 in Cal Pac.

Baylie Saunders got the Redhawks on the board scoring in the 30th minute making it the second time this season that she's scored first in a match. Saunders now has 4 goals in the season with all 4 coming in Cal Pac play.

The Redhawks went into the second half with the lead and continued to apply pressure, but the pioneers managed to get one by the defense and tie the game at the 77th minute. The Redhawks did not sit back in the second half, as plenty of shots were produced from the lineup. The final opportunity came on a free kick from Maya Shearon and was headed into the goal by Neshma Rodriguez, but found the net after the clock had ran out.
