Glendale, Arizona- The Benedictine University Mesa women's basketball team suffered a 78-68 defeat on the road at Arizona Christian University on Wednesday November 1, 2023. The Redhawks led ACU 21-18 in the first quarter, and held their lead until the fourth quarter. Junior Alize Ruiz commanded the court with 16 points, was 10-12 from the free throw line, and led the Redhawks with 15 rebounds. Junior Maria Moore scored 15 points, and went 5-9 from beyond the the 3pt line. Senior guard Elise Young scored 15 points, while going 3-4 from the free throw line.
