Box Score The Redhawks fall short to the Montana Western Bulldogs Tuesday night. The team came out slow in the first quarter falling to 15-23. Their defense just couldn't seem to stop the Bulldogs' shooting percentage of 66.7%. The second quarter just increased the lead to 31-44. But after halftime the Redhawks seemed to come back out with more fire. They held the Bulldogs to their lowest shooting percentage of the game at 43.8%. Despite the women's newfound energy, the Bulldogs kept the lead at 53-64. The Redhawks battled but the slow start proved to be too much to overcome losing 66-83.
 
There were two standout players during the game: Alize Ruiz and Elise Young. Senior Alize Ruiz had another double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Ruiz so far has had 6 double-doubles this season and has made it her average so far this season. Elise Young scored 17 points with 3 rebounds, one assists, and one steal. 
 
The Redhawks are back in action Thursday, December 21^st at 10 AM, for their second game of the Cactus Classic.
