MESA, Ariz. – The Benedictine University Mesa baseball team completed the series against Mount Mercy going 3-1 and scoring 39 runs in four games. The Redhawks improve their record to 6-7 overall before heading into Cal Pac play.

Josh Hernandez went 5-for-11 at the plate with a .455 batting average and six RBI and a triple. Orlando Lorduy finished the series batting .400 going 6-for-15 at the plate with two RBI and a double. Daniel Miranda went 6-for-16 with a .375 batting average, a solo homerun, a double, and five RBI.

Jared Cruce threw a threw for 7 innings with a 1.26 ERA and eight strikeouts. Justin Bates threw for six innings with a 1.50 ERA and seven strikeouts.
