IRVINE, Calif. – The Benedictine University Mesa women's basketball team utilized a late 8-0 run to secure their win over Westcliff University and a spot in the Cal Pac Championship Tournament. The Redhawks defeated Westcliff 68-60 shooting 35 percent from the field while holding the Warriors to 31 percent from the field.

Elise Young led the offense going 10-for-23 from the field and 4-for-7 from the three-point mark. Young scored 26 points with 10 boards while Nyah Henderson added 11 points and 13 rebounds. Andriana Kasapi added 11 points and Dyamond Butler-Worley finished with nine points and nine rebounds.

The win over Westcliff puts Benedictine in the final spot for the Cal Pac tournament where they will face off against Embry-Riddle on Saturday with tip-off set for 8:30 p.m.
