Box Score MESA, Ariz. – The Benedictine University Mesa baseball team hosted the University of British Columbia on Tuesday evening and despite a late rally, fell to the Thunderbirds, 5-3. The Redhawks are now 3-6 overall.
The Thunderbirds got on the board first scoring in the first and second innings. BenU would answer back scoring in the third, fourth, and fifth innings taking the lead, 3-2. British Columbia took back the lead on a triple with bases loaded to bring across three runs.
Orlando Lorduy went 2-for-4 with one RBI. Kevin Fitzgerald went 2-for-4 with a triple in the bottom of the seventh. Dylan Bangs also went 2-for-4 with one RBI.
