Box Score 2 MESA, Ariz. – The Benedictine University Mesa baseball team picked up two conference wins against Simpson University. Game one went eight innings with the Redhawks winning 13-3 to run rule the Red Hawks of Simpson. Game two went 11-9 with both teams putting up double digit hits. The Redhawks improve to 15-7 overall and 2-0 in Cal Pac play.
Kevin Fitzgerald and Orlando Lorduy both went 2-for-5 in the first game. Lorduy added one run scored and one RBI and a double. Ryan Curran went 3-for-4 with two RBI and two doubles.
Dylan Bangs had explosive day in game two going 2-for-4 with two homeruns and three RBI. Tyler Butterfield went 2-for-4 with a double scoring and one RBI. Travis Reaves also went 2-for-4 with one RBI in the second game.
