Box Score GLENDALE, Ariz. – The Benedictine University Mesa baseball team defeated cross-town rival Arizona Christian University in dramatic comeback fashion on Tuesday night. The Redhawks improve to 21-7 overall and remain 6-0 in Cal Pac play.
The Redhawks held a single run lead through four innings before extending it to 7-runs in the fifth. The Firestorm answered back and took the lead in the sixth inning. The seventh inning was quiet for both teams. With six outs left for the Redhawks, Travis Reaves started the comeback with a single to up the middle that would later result in three runs to tie the game at 11 apiece.
The top of the 9th would result in 12 runs from nine hits, two errors from the firestorm, and only leaving one runner on the bases.
Daniel Miranda scored the tying run in the 8th on a sac fly to right and homered in the 9th to solidify the lead over the Firestorm. Miranda finished going 1-for-4 with a 3-run homerun and a sac to total four RBI and one run scored.
Travis Reaves went 5-for-7 with 5 runs scored and 4 RBI. Kevin Fitzgerald went 3-for-5 against the Firestorm and pushed 6 runs across the plate. Orlando Lorduy went 4-for-7 with 3 runs and 3 RBI in the game. Dylan Bangs went 3-for-6 with two runs and 3 RBI.

The Redhawks will host Embry-Riddle on Friday, March 31 and Saturday, April 1. Friday's contest will be at Gene Autry while Saturday's will be at Mesa Community College.
