Box Score MESA, Ariz. – The Benedictine University Mesa baseball team defeated crosstown rival, Arizona Christian, 9-2 on Tuesday evening. The Redhawks improve to 29-7 overall and remain 12-0 in Cal Pac play while extending their win streak to 26 wins.
 
The redhawks got on the board fast scoring two runs in the first inning from the top of the lineup. Reaves started the game with a leadoff triple. Kevin Fitzgerald brought him in on a double down the right field line. Orlando Lorduy brought in Fitzgerald on a single up the middle.
 
BenU added six runs in the second inning off of seven hits and only left two on base. Orlando Lorduy went 4-for-4 with a homerun, four RBI, and one run scored. Kevin Fitzgerald went 3-for-5 with two RBI, and two runs scored. Reaves went 2-for-3 with three runs scored and two walks. Dylan Bangs went 3-for-5 witn one RBI and one run scored.
 
Jared Cruce led the pitching staff with 6.0 innings pitched and striking out six batters while only allowing one run and three hits.
