Box Score 3 MESA, Ariz. – The Benedictine University Mesa baseball team completed a series sweep over Providence Christian to remain in first place in the Cal Pac standings. The Redhawks are currently 12-0 in Cal Pac play and extended their win streak to 25 wins.
The Redhawks totaled 38 runs and hit at a .480 batting average as a team against the Seabeggars. The pitching staff totaled 30 strikeouts to hold Providence to just three runs in the entire series.
Mikito Barkman tossed a seven-inning no-hitter. Barkman blanked Providence Christian 14-0, surrendering just two walks and striking out 14 batters.
The offense was hot from the start scoring 26 runs of their 38 in the first three innings. Dyland Bangs had two homeruns against the Seabeggars and went 3-for-7 with 7 RBI.
Jack Fitzgerald went 4-for-6 with five RBI and two doubles.
Orlando Lorduy went 5-for-8 with six runs scored and 4 RBI.
