Box Score 2 MESA, Ariz. – The Benedictine University Mesa baseball team took both games from the Firestorm on Tuesday evening to take the season series 4-0. The Redhawks improve to 35-8 overall and remain 13-1 in Cal Pac play.
Orlando Lorduy led the Redhawks going 5-for-6 with three runs scored and two RBI against the Firestorm.
Dylan Bangs went 5-for-7 with four RBI and one run scored. Bangs also added two doubles on the day.
Kevin Fitzgerald went 4-for-8 with three runs scored and a triple.
Jared Cruce has started in 3 of the 4 games against the Firestorm and held them to just 10 runs on 20 hits. Cruce has only thrown three walks in the 18.1 innings pitched against ACU and concluded yesterday's game allowing no free bases on walks. Cruce has struck out 16 batters and finishes with a 3.44 ERA in his three appearances against the Firestorm.

The Redhawks will face off against Park-Gilbert this weekend for a three-game series hosted by Park at Legacy Sports Complex. First game will be on April 21 at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 22 will be a doubleheader with the first pitch set for 11 a.m.
