CHANDLER, Ariz. – The Benedictine University Mesa women's volleyball team dropped their conference opener to the University of Saint Katherine on Friday evening. The Redhawks lost 3-0 (25-11,25-16,25-20) and are now 7-2 overall and 0-1 in Cal Pac play.
 
The Redhawks struggled on the offense hit for a .000 clip in the first set. Despite having more kills in sets two and three, the Redhawks hit in the negative in both sets. The Redhawks had 20 kills in the match and 8 blocks. BenU finished making one block error while the Firebirds made four.
 
The Firebirds held the advantage in nearly every statistical category. BenU held an advantage the service errors only making four while the Firebirds made 10 service errors.
