Benedictine Mesa's women's soccer team claimed a decisive 3-1 victory against Life Pacific in an action-packed game. Early in the first half, both teams showed strong defensive efforts, with Benedictine's goalkeeper,
Josephine Cisneros, making key saves, including one in the 17th minute against Life Pacific's Jacynda Rueda. Despite a few fouls from both sides, Benedictine pressed forward, with shots on goal from players like
Cahryn Rod and
Dahlia Alonso, but Life Pacific's goalkeeper Valerie Lopez was up to the task.

The second half saw a more aggressive Benedictine side. In the 60th minute,
Julia Bodelasse broke the deadlock with a well-placed penalty kick, giving Benedictine a 1-0 lead. Just six minutes later, Bodelasse struck again to extend the lead to 2-0. Life Pacific managed to pull one back in the 75th minute through a goal by Sabrina Heredia-Geet, assisted by Nancy Hinojosa, but Benedictine responded quickly. In the 85th minute,
Mellysa Galiz sealed the win with a third goal for the Redhawks. Despite some late pressure from Life Pacific, Benedictine held firm and closed out the game with a comfortable 3-1 victory.
