Men’s Basketball Dominates Lethbridge College in 83-55 Victory

The Benedictine Mesa Men's Basketball team achieved an impressive victory over Lethbridge College, winning 83-55 on Wednesday afternoon.

Benedictine Mesa started strong, taking control early in the game. Seth Dawson opened the scoring with a free throw, and Tanner Crawford energized the team with two powerful dunks. Damian Zivak contributed significantly from beyond the arc, sinking two three-pointers to establish an early lead.

Lethbridge attempted to keep pace, with key baskets from Coleson Lake and Jackson Wright, but Benedictine's stifling defense forced turnovers and created fast-break opportunities. Benjamin Ramirez and Malakai Harris made crucial contributions off the bench, with Ramirez's steals leading to quick transition points.

Zivak and Crawford dominated on both ends of the court, combining for highlight-reel plays that extended the lead. By halftime, the Redhawks had built a commanding double-digit advantage, showcasing their suffocating defense, efficient shooting, and balanced scoring.

In the second half, Benedictine maintained control, with Dawson and Zivak extending the lead further. Despite Lethbridge's efforts to regroup, their offense struggled against Benedictine's defense, leading to turnovers and fouls.

Benedictine's teamwork and execution allowed them to dominate throughout the game, maintaining a lead above 20 points and securing a convincing win.
