Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Women's Soccer Showed a Strong Effort Despite 2-0 Loss to Life Pacific

Benedictine Mesa put forth a strong effort in their match against Life Pacific, but ultimately fell short despite a valiant defensive performance. The game began with early pressure from Life Pacific, which saw Benedictine's goalkeeper, Alinah Heuramo, make several crucial saves within the first ten minutes. Despite the defensive efforts, Life Pacific's relentless attack paid off at the 25:13 mark when they scored the first goal of the game. Shortly after, Life Pacific doubled their lead with a goal in the 31st minute.

Benedictine's offense struggled to break through Life Pacific's defense, with several shots on goal being saved by their goalkeeper. Notably, attempts by Benedictine's Cahryn Rod and Dahlia Alonso were thwarted, keeping the score in Life Pacific's favor as the first half ended 2-0.

In the second half, Benedictine Mesa continued to press for a goal, but despite creating multiple opportunities, including shots by Julia Bodelasse and Mellysa Galiz, they were unable to find the back of the net. Life Pacific's defense remained resolute, and their goalkeeper continued to deny Benedictine's best efforts. Elena Rivera, who took over goalkeeping duties in the second half for Benedictine, made several important saves to keep her team in the game, but the offense could not capitalize on their chances.

Despite a late surge from Benedictine Mesa, including another close attempt by Maya Shearon in the 78th minute, the match ended with a 2-0 victory for Life Pacific. Benedictine's determination was evident throughout the game, but they were unable to overcome Life Pacific's early lead.
