Women's Volleyball Battle to Five Sets Against The Master’s

The Benedictine University Mesa women's volleyball team went the distance in a back-and-forth five-set thriller but ultimately fell to The Master's University, 3–2 (21–25, 19–25, 25–19, 25–17, 10–15).

The match opened with strong momentum from The Master's as they capitalized on Redhawk attack errors and a late scoring run to close out the first set, 25–21. The Mustangs continued to apply pressure in the second, using a series of kills from Krista Brady and Kinsley Kollman to secure a 25–19 win and take a 2–0 lead.

Refusing to go quietly, Benedictine Mesa stormed back in the third set. Behind the offensive presence of Sophie Drollinger and Railey Druxman, along with steady setting from Vivianna Galvan, the Redhawks controlled the tempo and earned a convincing 25–19 victory to extend the match.

The Redhawks carried that energy into the fourth set, where their block and attack efficiency overwhelmed The Master's. Drollinger and Camille Collins provided key kills as Benedictine closed the frame with a dominant 25–17 performance, evening the match at two sets apiece.

In the deciding fifth set, The Master's regrouped quickly, jumping out to an early lead. Benedictine rallied to stay within reach, but the Mustangs' strong finish secured the 15–10 win and the match.
