The Benedictine Mesa women's soccer team faced a tough challenge on Saturday, falling 9–0 to The Master's University on the road.
The Master's struck early, taking a 3–0 lead in the first half. Katie Trinh opened the scoring just three minutes in, assisted by Tala Tapia. Less thanfive minutes later, Maddy Traylor doubled the advantage with help from Harmony Rohde. Before halftime, Rohde added a goal of her own, assisted by Bryanna Elias, to give The Master's firm control of the match.

Twyla Morgan worked hard in the first half, collecting multiple saves against relentless pressure from The Master's attack.
In the second half, the visitors continued their offensive push. Kegen Brennemann converted a penalty kick in the 55th minute, followed by goals from Elias, Trinh, and Traylor as The Master's extended their lead. Traylor completed her hat trick in the 68th minute, while Grace Carney closed the scoring in the 80th minute off an assist from Jane Hato.
Goalkeepers Morgan and
Tatum Lally split time in net for the Redhawks, combining for several key saves despite the high-volume attack.
Benedictine Mesa's young roster continued to show resilience, with players like
Tori St. Rose,
Kyra De Boer, and
Madison Rubio providing strong minutes off the bench.
