The Benedictine Mesa Redhawks delivered a complete performance on Tuesday afternoon, exploding offensively and locking down defensively to roll past CETYS Mexicali, 108–49.
First Half:
The Redhawks wasted no time asserting control, turning a 3-3 tie into a commanding lead behind
Damian Zivak's sharpshooting. Zivak drained three triples and added free throws during a 15-3 run that put Benedictine Mesa ahead 17-6.
Kamron Robinson and
Eric Blackwell added layups, while
Malik Payton's steal sparked another scoring burst. By halftime, Benedictine Mesa led 55-31, thanks to contributions from reserves like
Diego Ledesma and
Khari Dunn.
Second Half:
After the break, Benedictine Mesa continued to roll.
Isaiah Howard opened with a three-pointer and a layup, and Robinson added a dunk to highlight a dominant stretch. Blackwell hit back-to-back threes, and Olmstead controlled the paint as the lead ballooned past 40.
