First Quarter: 
The game opened with a defensive grind as both teams struggled to find rhythm. Northern New Mexico struck first with a jumper from Jayden Jenkins, but Benedictine Mesa answered quickly when Naomi Elliott scored off an assist from Alannah Northam. After trading misses and turnovers, the Redhawks began to pull ahead midway through the quarter. Kira Nowell and Alexia Wilcox chipped in key baskets, and Northam added two free throws late to give Benedictine Mesa a 12-4 lead after one.

Second Quarter: 
Benedictine Mesa broke the game open in the second period, outscoring Northern New Mexico 20-9. Elliott sparked the run with a three-pointer and two free throws, while Olivia Arvallo and Northam added timely jumpers. Northern New Mexico tried to respond with buckets from Jenkins and Rhianna Padilla, but turnovers and missed opportunities kept them from closing the gap. By halftime, Benedictine Mesa held a commanding 32-13 advantage.

Third Quarter: 
Northern New Mexico came out strong after the break, delivering their best offensive stretch of the night. Jenkins and Berryhill combined for key baskets, and Padilla knocked down a three-pointer to energize the Eagles. However, Benedictine Mesa continued to answer every push. Arvallo drilled a three, and Elliott and Northam added mid-range jumpers to maintain control. Despite Northern New Mexico winning the quarter 16-9, the Redhawks still led 41-29 heading into the fourth.

Fourth Quarter: 
The Eagles opened the final frame with a quick jumper from Jenkins and a layup by Padilla, but Benedictine Mesa slammed the door shut with an 18-9 run. Elliott and Northam dominated down the stretch, combining for multiple jumpers and layups, while Moore and Wilcox added inside scoring. The Redhawks' defense forced turnovers and converted them into points, sealing a 59-38 victory.
