The Benedictine Mesa Men's Golf team finished 6th overall at the Sea Beggar Invitational held in Pasadena, CA, from February 18th to 19th.
Charlie Gingras led the Redhawks with a +1 score of 73, shooting a 36 in the first round and a 37 in the second. Eric Klutke followed with a +5 and an overall score of 77, scoring 43 in the first round and an impressive 34 in the second. Joaquin Salgado finished with a +7, recording a score of 79 (39 in round one and 40 in round two). Pedro Alvarez finished at +9 with an overall score of 81, shooting a 42 in the first round and a 39 in the second. Miguel Villa concluded the tournament with a +10 and a score of 82, hitting 43 on day one and 39 on day two.
Looking ahead, the Redhawks will return to the course on March 9th as they head to Nevada to compete in the Battle at Laughlin Ranch, hosted by Rocky Mountain College.
