At the Park University Spring Shootout – Benedictine Mesa delivered a strong showing across 18 holes, highlighted by standout performances from
Joe Kelly and
Eddie Winkelmann. Kelly led the way with a stellar 67 (-4), carding an impressive front-nine 32 that included three birdies and no bogeys. Winkelmann was steady and sharp, finishing with a 69 (-2) thanks to balanced scoring and back-to-back nines of 35 and 34.
Pedro Alvarez also contributed solidly with a 73 (+2), showing consistency across both halves of the course.
Miguel Villa posted a respectable 76 (+5), while
Blake Contente rounded out the squad with an 82 (+11). With the team using the best four scores, the collective effort positioned them well on a demanding 6,597-yard course, showcasing depth, resilience, and flashes of brilliance throughout the round.
