Biography

AJ Fernandez, a Mesa, Arizona native, is a junior catcher and infielder for the Benedictine University Mesa Redhawks. Standing at 6-foot-1, Fernandez transferred from Mesa Community College, where he played during the 2022-2023 season. At Mesa Community College, he made 39 appearances, recording 37 hits, including nine doubles and two triples, and scoring 13 runs. Fernandez is set to begin his first season with the Redhawks in 2025
