Biography

Candon Cheney, from Mesa, Arizona, joins Benedictine University Mesa baseball in 2026. A graduate of Highland High School, Cheney played a key role in helping his team reach the playoffs for the first time in over a decade. During his junior season, he posted a sub-1.00 ERA over 30 innings pitched and was recognized as the Region Pitcher of the Year. Now continuing his career with the Redhawks, Cheney looks to bring his strong presence on the mound and competitive edge to the program.
