Carlos Parra, a talented short stop from Caborca, Sonora, Mexico, graduated from Dom Bosco Kino High School before continuing his education and athletic career at Glendale Community College. During his time there, he started both years and earned First Team All-Region infield honors. Parra then transferred to Benedictine University Mesa, where he made an immediate impact on the team.
In 2023, he played in 58 games, achieving remarkable stats with 46 runs, 71 hits, 8 doubles, and 30 RBIs, while showcasing his defensive skills with 59 putouts and 172 assists. He was recognized as the Cal Pac Defensive Player of the Year and received several accolades, including the All-Cal Pac Conference Team and All-Cal Pac Defensive Team honors.
In 2024, Parra continued to excel, playing in 48 games and recording 45 runs, 66 hits, 10 doubles, 2 home runs, and 42 RBIs, along with a .423 slugging percentage. His impressive performances solidified his reputation as a standout player in the conference.
