Benedictine University Mesa

Mark Goodman is entering his 15th season coaching and 1st as the hitting coach at Benedictine University Mesa.

Goodman’s experience ranges from high school to college, with stops at a few jucos and NAIA programs.  Goodman is also no stranger to summer ball, where he has been a head and assistant coach. He spent 3 seasons in the Northwoods League where he helped lead the Mankato MoonDogs to the championship series, and the Kalamazoo Growlers to their best record setting season to date.

Before coaching, Goodman played at the University of South Dakota and Bellevue University.  Once his collegiate career ended he played professional independent baseball for 5 seasons.  A couple of interesting facts about Goodman: he stuck out Ricky Henderson in his first professional outing, and was selected to go to Russia and help coach the Russian Olympic team.
