Mike Pereznegron enters his third year as an Assistant Coach for the Redhawks.

Pereznegron graduated from Lathrop (CA) High School in 2013 before attending San Joaquin Delta College for a year. He then transferred to University of Antelope Valley to start a decorated career. While at UAV, Pereznegron was a leader of 3 straight Cal Pac Conference Championships, 1 NAIA World Series appearance, 2x Cal Pac All Conference, 1x Cal Pac Gold Glove, and an NAIA World Series Gold Glove.

Pereznegron then served UAV as a graduate assistant before going back to San Joaquin Delta College in 2020 as an assistant coach. At SJDC, he helped with hitters, infielders, and base running.

Pereznegron graduated from the University of Antelope with a Bachelor's in Sports Management and a Master's in Education.
