Corey Wallace enters his sixth season on staff at Benedictine Mesa. He brings over fourteen years of college coaching experience at various levels. He joined the program in 2015 and has been on staff since its inception. Wallace’s primary duties include on-floor coaching, recruiting and working with the Redhawk post players.

Wallace has helped the BenU Mesa basketball program achieve great things in the past five seasons while on staff including two conference tournament appearances, one conference regular season championship and helped to recruit and guide eleven players to all-conference recognition, three of which who have gone on to play at the professional level.

Prior to joining Benedictine, Wallace worked as an assistant men’s basketball Coach at South Mountain Community College from 2008-2015. He helped guide SMCC to back-back conference regular season championships from 2010-2012. During his seven years on staff at SMCC, Wallace recruited or coached over ten all-conference performers and helped to produce twelve players that have gone on to play at the professional level.

Wallace also spent one year on staff at Grand Canyon University from 2007-2008 and helped the Lopes to a 17-13 record. He began his coaching career in 2006-2007 at South Mountain CC.
