Nate Hartman

Nate Hartman enters his first season as assistant coach with the Benedictine Mesa Men's Basketball Program.
 
Prior to his time with the Redhawks basketball program, Hartman was the head coach at Middleton High School in Idaho. In his first season at Middleton, Hartman led the team to a 25-3 record, including a third-place finish at the 4A State Tournament. The 25 wins during the 2021-22 season are the most single season wins in Middleton program history. He also set the record for the most consecutive wins in a single season at 18. Following the season, Hartman was named the head coach of the Boys Metro Team at the Idaho State All-Star Classic held at North Idaho College. During his tenure at Middleton, the Vikings became one of five Idaho teams to be attend Section 7, an invite only summer tournament held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale. He helped multiple players receive scholarships to continue their career at the collegiate level, including two division one recruits. Hartman finished his tenure at Middleton with a 35-15 record.
 
Prior to Middleton, Hartman spent four seasons at Idaho Falls High School alongside Howard Hart. Hartman helped the Tigers snap a 31-year state title drought by capturing the 2018-19 4A State Championship. The following season, the Tigers won 20 games for the second season in a row, clinching back-to-back state tournament appearances. Hartman holds a .700 win percentage as a head high school coach. Hartman graduated from BYU-Idaho in 2015 and earned his master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State Global Campus in 2017. He is married to Shayla, and the couple has two daughters, Blaiklee and Laikyn.
