2020-21: As a sophomore Grijalva continued his impressive development by increasing his points per game to 8.4 while still maintaining an impressive 2-1 assist to turnover ratio. His work ethic is also clearly visible in his increased shooting percentages as the guard out of Chandler, AZ increased his FG, 3PT and FT percentages from his freshman season.

2019-20: Grijalva was stellar for the Redhawks in his back-up point guard role as a freshman. Playing in 25 games and making 2 starts, Grijalva ranked 7th nationally with a 3.333 assist to turn-over ratio. On the season the point guard had more steals (18) than turn-overs (12). 

High School: Graduated from Valley Christian in 2019...a four-year varsity letterwinner...averaged 10.5 points, 4 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game, while helping lead his team to a 3A State Title as a senior...Earned 3A Defensive Player of the Year and a 3A Metro West Region Player of the Year.
