Benedictine University Mesa

Blake Contente, a member of the Benedictine University Mesa men’s golf team, is from Fresno, California, and graduated from Clovis West High School. He transferred to Benedictine in 2024 after beginning his collegiate career at Reedley Community College.

In his first season with the Redhawks, Contente showcased consistency and flashes of dominance on the course. He tied for 10th at the Park Gilbert Invitational, firing three straight rounds of 70 for a total of 210. He also led Benedictine at the OUAZ Fall Invitational, tying for 11th with scores of 74, 75, and 72 (221). One of his standout moments came at the Embry-Riddle Fall Invite, where he captured the tournament title with a 5-under-par total of 210. Contente continued his strong play with a top-10 finish at the Firestorm Fall Invite, tying for 8th. Additional appearances included the Maverick Desert Classic, where he rebounded from an opening 80 with the team’s best round of the day at 74, The Battle at Laughlin Ranch, and the Park University Championship.
