Biography
Joaquín Salgado, a member of the Benedictine University Mesa men’s golf team, is from Argentina and graduated from St. Catherine’s Moorlands School, where he served as Sports Captain. He joined the Redhawks in 2024 and quickly became a steady contributor in his first season. At the 2024 Park Gilbert Invitational, Salgado tied for 16th with an impressive three-round total of 212 (70-71-71). He also competed at the Sea Beggar Invitational, finishing with a +7 after rounds of 39 and 40 for a score of 79.
