John Cappuccitti

John Cappuccitti, from Mount Prospect, Illinois, holds a B.A. in Psychology from Lake Forest College (2018) and an M.S. in Exercise Science & Health Promotion from California University of Pennsylvania (2021). He is currently the 1st Assistant Coach at Elmhurst University (2024–2025) and serves as Coach and Director of Coaching for FC United/Trevian SC’s youth program (2022–2025). His previous coaching roles include Team Evanston (2021), Virginia Military Institute (Spring 2020), Lake Forest College (Fall 2020), and Knox College (Fall 2019), where he helped win a conference championship and secure an NCAA berth. He also coached varsity hockey for BGHW High School from 2019–2024.

As a player, Cappuccitti competed professionally with Chicago House AC (2022–2023) and internationally in Brazil (2017) and Croatia (2018–2019) with U.S. Select Teams. At Lake Forest College (2015–2018), he was team captain, 2016 MWC Offensive Player of the Year, a two-time All-MWC selection, and part of two NCAA Tournament teams. He began his collegiate career at Loyola University Chicago (2014–2015).
