Benedictine University Mesa

Rodrigo Bonilla is from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and graduated from Spanish River High School. Before coming to Benedictine University Mesa in 2025, he played at Corban University, where he appeared in 15 games and started 4 in 2024, recording 607 minutes, one goal, and a .533 shot on goal percentage. Bonilla also spent two collegiate seasons at Whatcom Community College. Much of his development came at the club level with the FC Boca Predators, where he was a key goal scorer, helping the team win multiple FYSA league and cup titles as well as the Weston Cup, Extreme Cup, and Vero Beach tournaments, while also competing internationally in Argentina and Colombia. He led the Predators in scoring for two consecutive seasons, netting 23 and 27 goals with six and nine assists, respectively.
