Biography

Santiago Fernando Melgar Cabanillas is a midfielder from Lima, Peru, and attended Colegio Santa Margarita. During his youth career, he helped his team earn a third-place finish in the 2025 ADECOPA U17 competition, demonstrating his skill, vision, and ability to contribute in the midfield. He joins Benedictine University Mesa in 2026 to begin his collegiate soccer career and looks to continue his development while contributing to the Redhawks' midfield unit.
