Biography
Daniel Compton is an accomplished volleyball player for the Benedictine University Redhawks. In the 2024 season, he showcased his skills with 29 kills, 19 assists, 5 aces, 43 digs, and 4 blocks, earning recognition as a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete. During the 2023 season, Compton recorded 32 kills with a .257 hitting percentage, along with 9 aces, 27 digs, and 3 blocks.
Compton began his collegiate career in the 2021-22 season as a true freshman, competing in 11 matches and totaling 29 sets, finishing with 1 kill, 9 aces, and 42 digs. Before joining the Redhawks, he graduated in 2021 from Saugus High School in Santa Clarita, California.
