Benedictine University Mesa

Alina Sanchez will join the Benedictine University Mesa softball program in 2026. A native of San Jose, California, Sanchez attended Presentation High School, where she earned All-Conference Second Team honors and was named team MVP. She previously competed at Ohlone College, making an impact as both a hitter and a pitcher. At Ohlone, Sanchez appeared in 40 games at the plate, posting a .325 batting average with 38 hits, 24 RBIs, and five doubles. In the circle, she made 33 appearances with 29 starts, compiling 177.2 innings pitched with nine wins, 90 strikeouts, and a 3.62 ERA. Sanchez brings valuable two-way experience to the Redhawks as she begins her career at Benedictine Mesa.
