Annaleia Jenkins, from West Valley City, Utah, graduated from Cyprus High School, where she earned multiple accolades, including 6A Region 2 Second Team All-Region honors in 2019, First Team All-Region honors in 2021 and 2022, and Honorable Mention All-State recognition in 2022. She began her collegiate career at Treasure Valley Community College, where she excelled as an outfielder, earning First Team Outfield honors in both 2023 and 2024, as well as the 2023 NWAC Rawlings Gold Glove for Centerfield. In 2024–25, Leia joined Benedictine University to continue her softball and academic journey. In the 2025 season, she appeared in 38 games (37 starts), batting .322 with 39 hits, five doubles, two triples, 15 RBIs, and seven stolen bases, while posting a .369 on-base percentage and .397 slugging percentage. Defensively, she recorded 45 putouts with four assists, one error, and a .980 fielding percentage.
