Boursaw begins her inaugural season with the Redhawks, transitioning from her role at Yavapai College since 2022.
During her tenure at Yavapai, Boursaw showcased remarkable talent on the softball field. In her freshman year (2017), she boasted an impressive .480 batting average, tallying 73 runs, 85 hits, 18 doubles, 32 home runs, 101 RBIs, and a .521 OBP with a .1124 SLG. Her sophomore year (2018) saw continued excellence with a .444 batting average, 65 runs, 80 hits, 15 doubles, 28 home runs, 84 RBIs, and a .549 OBP with a .994 SLG.
Her outstanding performance earned her multiple accolades, including All-Conference, All-Region, and All-American honors for both seasons. Boursaw was named the 2017 ACCAC Player of the Year, the 2018 NFCA Diamond Catcher of the Year, and the 2018 NJCAA Player of the Year. She also holds the career home run record (60) and career RBI record (186) at Yavapai, and is tied for sixth in career runs scored (139).
Following her successful stint at Yavapai, Boursaw joined Lindsey Wilson College, a renowned NAIA program in Columbia, Kentucky. In her junior year (2019), she contributed significantly with a .363 batting average, 65 hits, 31 runs, 4 doubles, 14 homers, 47 RBIs, and a .412 OBP with a .620 SLG. This performance earned her First-Team All-Conference honors and helped propel her team to a remarkable 52-5 overall record and a deep run in the NAIA World Series.
In her senior year (2020), Boursaw's season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with her team boasting a 12-1 record.
Upon concluding her collegiate playing career, Boursaw returned to Lindsey Wilson as a graduate assistant coach, specializing in recruiting, pitching, catching, and coaching hitters.
