Benedictine University Mesa

Gabrielle Perez, from Hayward, CA, began her collegiate career at Benedictine University in the 2023-24 season after an accomplished tenure at San Mateo Community College. A graduate of Moreau Catholic High School, Gabrielle earned multiple accolades, including First Team All-Conference honors in 2017, 2018, and 2019, as well as recognition on the 2018 Livermore Stampede All-Tournament Team and the 2019 Livermore Stampede All-Tournament Team. At San Mateo, she excelled, making the Dean's List in 2022 and earning Second Team All-Conference honors that same year. Gabrielle went on to help her team win the 2022 CCCAA State Championship and was named First Team All-Conference in 2023, making the CCCAA All-Tournament Team, All-Nor-Cal Team, and earning NFCA All-American honors. In her first season at BenU, she played in 45 games, starting 44, and posted 14 runs, 18 RBIs, a .260 batting average, 289 catches, 263 putouts, and a .972 fielding percentage.
