Biography

Leiana Madrazo, from Stockton, CA, joined Benedictine University in the 2023-24 season after an impressive high school career at Stagg High School, where she played varsity softball all four years. Her accolades include Athlete of the Month as a freshman, 1st Team All-League and All-District Athlete of the Year as a junior, and SJAA All-League MVP Honorable Mention as a senior. In her freshman year at BenU, Leiana overcame early challenges to set a school record with 5 stolen bases in a single game against Park-Gilbert on April 6th and earned All-Conference Honorable Mention. She played in 29 games, starting 28, and recorded 18 runs, 4 triples, 20 stolen bases, and a .228 batting average.
