Benedictine University Mesa

Mackenzie Larson, a softball player from San Tan Valley, Arizona, joins Benedictine Mesa for the 2026 season after competing at Scottsdale Community College. A graduate of Desert Ridge High School, Larson developed into a key contributor for the Fighting Artichokes across two seasons. In her freshman year (2023–24), she posted a standout campaign, hitting .356 with 53 hits, 16 doubles, five home runs, 32 RBIs, and 41 runs scored, while also recording a .971 fielding percentage. As a sophomore (2024–25), she appeared in 47 games, collecting 29 hits, six doubles, and three home runs with 22 RBIs. Over her two-year career at SCC, Larson played in 93 games and tallied 82 hits, 22 doubles, eight home runs, 54 RBIs, and 66 runs scored, finishing with a .293 career batting average and .970 fielding percentage.
