Benedictine University Mesa

Aaliyah Garcia, from Chandler, AZ, is a member of the Benedictine University Mesa women’s basketball team, joining the Redhawks in 2025. She graduated from Dobson High School, where she helped lead her team to a 2023 state runner-up finish. Aaliyah continued her basketball journey at Mesa Community College, playing in 55 games over two seasons. In the 2023-24 season, she appeared in 35 games with 2 starts, averaging 16.1 minutes, 4.1 points, and 1.2 rebounds per game while contributing 36 steals and 2 blocks. During the 2024-25 season, she played in 20 games, averaging 17.4 minutes and 4.6 points per game, adding 57 rebounds, 15 steals, and 5 blocks. Over her two-year college career, Aaliyah totaled 124 rebounds, 51 steals, and 7 blocks, demonstrating her consistent defensive and all-around contributions on the court.
