Benedictine University Mesa

Kennewick, Washington native Camia Howard joins the Benedictine Mesa women's basketball program in 2026 after an outstanding career at Spokane Falls Community College. A graduate of Kamiakin High School, Howard was inducted into her school's Hall of Fame for both basketball and track and field, highlighting her exceptional athletic achievements and versatility. At Spokane Falls, Howard established herself as one of the top players in the NWAC, earning All-Defensive Team honors twice and being named Second Team All-Region. During the 2025-26 season, she started all 28 games and emerged as a dominant force on the court, leading her team with 444 points while shooting an impressive 47.0 percent from the field. Howard averaged 15.9 points per game and added 71 free throws while logging over 760 minutes of action. Known for her ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor, Howard brings a proven scoring touch, defensive intensity, and strong leadership to the Redhawks as she begins her first season with BenedictineMesa.
