Biography

Jay Fuentes is from Yuma, Arizona, and graduated from Kofa High School, where he was named the 2022 Kofa Boys Soccer Midfielder of the Year. He continued his soccer career at Benedictine University Mesa after transferring from Chandler-Gilbert Community College, where he played in 10 matches with five starts and recorded three shots. In 2025, Fuentes appeared in three matches for the Redhawks and made the most of his opportunities, scoring one goal on his lone shot on target while totaling two points in 89 minutes of action. He finished the season with a perfect 1.000 shooting percentage and looks to continue building on that success at Benedictine Mesa.
