Biography
Jaylyn Nashio, from Whiteriver, AZ, is a member of the Benedictine University Mesa women’s basketball team, joining the Redhawks in 2025. She graduated from Alchesay High School, where she helped lead her team to back-to-back 3A Girls Basketball State Championships in the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 seasons. Jaylyn continued her basketball career at Chandler-Gilbert Community College, appearing in 38 games over two seasons with 9 starts. She averaged 4.1 points per game, 1.8 rebounds, and 0.9 assists, while totaling 33 steals and 2 blocks. Her consistent contributions on both ends of the court showcased her versatility and defensive ability, making her a valuable addition to the Redhawks roster.
